Installing IIS after XP SP2
I am at a customers site working on their computer. As far as I can tell, this is what happened. The purchased the computer with XP SP1 installed. They then did an online update to install SP2. I am now trying to install IIS and I'm being prompted to get the XP SP2 disk. I don't have a disk like that. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get IIS installed will be appreciated.
This is my first time in this forum. Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute in the future. Thanks, Bruce Jones |

Hmm, you may need to find the XP CD to get IIS installed.

The last version of an installable version of IIS without a CD was psws for windows 98. As Doug said, you are going to have to find the Windows XP or borrow one.

I was hoping that would not be the answer. I'll have to check with friends and such to see if anybody recently got a new computer.
Thanks for your help. Bruce |
