Installing IIS on Win2K - missing file
I have successfully intalled IIS twice on this PC with the same Win2K CD I'm using now.
But now, since I replaced the C: drive and reloaded Win2K, the IIS installation asks for three files (so far) that it can't find on the CD - The first two I can find on the D: drive (this was originally the C: drive). The third one, IIS_infoctrs.h, is not to be found on the CD or either hard drive. The D: drive had a working copy of IIS running when I was using it as the primary drive, but the file is not on that drive anywhere. I also can't find it on the web. Where can I find this file, and why does IIS decide NOW that it needs the file, when it obviously didn't need it before? If the file were used when I installed before, wouldn't there be a copy of it still on the D: drive? joe |

Have you made sure that in your folder options->View you can see hidden files and folders?

Yes - also "Hide Protected System Files" is unchecked.

Ensure that you're installing as a local computer administrator user.
