ISS Issues using Windows Media Centre
Before buying a new PC when using IIS, I was able to use localhost and browse the collection of sites I had, and no troubles.
Now I am unable to do this. I am using Microsoft Windows Media Centre. I have put up with it until now, where I am trying to setup free file upload components, and always unsuccessful due to permissions denied etc. I think all of this is linked. Can anyone advise on fixing this issue as it would save me loads of time. I can tell you that if I want one of my sites to operate I must go into IIS and set the directory to suit. Whereby previously directory browsing would work just fine. Any help would be ace.

Most likely you have incorrect permission settings. Review your acl's using the security tab in windows explorer.
