no sure why i can get to my ASP program. IIS is installed. I was able to do it at one point i remember,
I am using Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. I am trying "http://localhost/" but i am getting "the page cannot displayed" message. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong or where to start checking? Thanks |

Well, that little HelloWorld.asp program works in the wwwroot but when i moved it to test directory and i run it from there it doesn't work. Could be something with security or permissions? I believe this used to work before but it doesn't work now. Any help in how to set up permissions globaly if that's the problem. Thanks |

give us error message and maybe we can help you solve it.
if you get just 500 error then disable it via Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced tab by unchecking "show friendly error messages" checkbox. |
