hi,
running IIS 5, access database on a win xp pro sp2 system. sometimes i will get this error msg when try to access my web server, soomthing like "max 10 users or connections reached" Is it due to some config setting? how can i change it ? From IIS ? And i know that sp2 only limited 10 tcp connections? does it affect the web server performance? |

Sorry, the number of inbound connections that Windows XP can accept is 10.
If you would like more, you're going to have to get a server OS. You can read Here for further clarification.

AFAIK the connection limit for XP Pro is hard-coded into the program. If you try some hack you are probably violating the software license agreement you have with Microsoft. I have no knowledge if such a hack will work or not.
