Mr
I'm running XP with IIS V5.1. Everytime I try to access ASP pages via my webserver i get the below error.
******************************************** Server Application Error The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance. ******************************************** From the event viewer it displays the below info The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/IISHELP'. The error was 'Class not registered '. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. I can view HTML pages fine through my webserver, but not ASP pages. I'm running Check Point Integrity Flex(Zonelabs)Firewall. i've tried to disabling the firewall and installing IIS and enabling my firewall after the installation but the problem is still there. Please help, this is very URGENT. |

Search this forum, I believe this error has been solved by running the MS command line tool that re-registers all the IIS components in windows. iisregister or something like that is the name.
