MS Visual Stuido.Net & IIS

I have recently installed MS Visual Studio.Net on my computer and when I try to open new or existing project I am getting the following error:

The web server reported the following error when attempting to create
or open the web project located at the following URL:
'http://localhost/project605', 'HTTP/1.0 500 server Error'.



I am working on Windows XP Pro, have my IIS installed and aslo have .Net Framework v1.1. I have also tried C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspne t_regiis.exe -i and I am still getting the same error. Please help me.

If you're using IE, open Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Options and uncheck the "show friendly http errors" setting. You should get back a more detailed error message.

in vb.net2003 , during web page creation. Could u pls suggest me how to resolve it.
