I have a problem. I want to run multiple websites. On multiple servers with one IP address and one open port (80). I have a Linux server with a few websites and a windows server with some websites. Now i want that the windows server is the main server. So i have the port on the router redirect to the windows server. Now i want to run a websites from the Linux throw the windows server. So that the client only speaks with the windows server. I don't want that people can connect with the Linux server. I have shared the folder of the Linux server with the website in it. Now i have tried to use the shared folder as home dir. on the windows server but that doesn't work. Does anyone know how i can do this

My first guess is you haven't given permission on the linux box to the IIS user account. I assume you are using samba, make sure the share allows access to any user account IIS might be operating in.
