mysterious behaviour of global.asa
i have iis on my comp. the global.asa file works for one folder while it does not for another.
And when i uploaded the file that works onto my web hosting company's server, it does not work. the global.asa file that works on my comp does not work on the www. Can anyone help, thanks, dragon heart.

A global.asa file must be in the root folder of a web application. If the file is located anywhere else it won't "fire".
Some hosting companies don't support global.asa files.

JS solutions.
I have some solutions for you to check it first.Please check any items that you want without sequence.
1.Check at your IIS properties that your application (virtual directory) was create to be an application or not? 2.One root application must have only one asa file and it must be in the root directory(within virtual directory). 3.You have to reboot server for activate asa (for Application_OnStart running) Hopefully,this solutions will make you success. JS. ;-)
