problem with IIS instalation - "The requested URL could not be retrieved"
Hi. I've just installed IIS on WINXP PRO and transferred an .asp file to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot but when i then go into IE and type http://localhost/asp_test.asp (thats the filename) i get an "The requested URL could not be retrieved" error. The file is definitely in the directory and works fine when i upload it to my ISP. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks.

I haven't run across this one. Double-check your virtual directory setup in the IIS management console.
