Reading a network share from iis.
I don't know how to explain this correctly but here goes. I have 2 computers both on the same network. One computer is a webserver with IIS and asp. Is there a way to specify iis to use a directory in the other computer on the network for certain web content? Thanks.

Moved to the IIS forum
You should be able to create a virtual directory that is on a network share, as long as you have set the proper file permissions on the target computer. Note, normally IIS uses a local computer account that won't have any permission to files on another computer.

You can also set the web site to be a share on another server,
from the homepage tab, but you will need to change it to log in using a user profile with the appropriate authorities on the other server |
