Server Application Error
Hi
Wonder if someone could help with this.
I've been running IIS on my laptop for ages to test updates on a website before I upload them.
It's been running fine until now. I couldn't access any pages and couldn't open the IIS Admin Panel. So I removed and re-installed IIS.
Now I'm getting:-
Server Application Error
The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance.
When I try and run an ASP script. HTML runs fine.
I looked in the log file and it showed this:-
13:20:16 127.0.0.1 GET /policycheck/adviser/index.asp 500
And I looked in event viewer and it's posting an error
The server failed to load application ''. The error was 'The specified metadata was not found.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this?
BTW I'm running Win XP Pro with all MS updates installed.
