Setting up for new website
I got a domain name and DNS hosting service ready. So now the last thing to get the website up is the IIS rite?
After creating the virtual directory, which configuration should be setup so that DNS will point to the right index.html? Add another identity with host header name? |

DNS only points to a server, not to a file or even a process.
Open your browser on the web server to http://localhost/iishelp and view the IIS online help, and review the IIS administration documentation.

Does your Server have a DNS Server running?
If so you need to add the lookup entries for it. If not then you just need to add the domain name to the header for the site. |
