Are you sure it isn't the database interaction causing the performance issues?

well we are kinda thinking that it could be our sqlserver talking to our webserver
were not sure, we are kinda new to this so any ideas on how to check either server for performance issues? I"m trying to run the tuning advisor now. thanx |

13% of consumed workload has syntax errors. Check tuning log for more information.
I have this warning when i run that advisor it's still running. |

FYI, IIS and SQL Server work fine when configured and coded properly. Look for some dodgy code or sql would be my recommendation.
As another guess, misconfigured DNS can cause slow network response, as can misconfigured network settings.
