Question The page cannot be displayed

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I am having Win XP Pro & IIS 5.1 installed on my PC at home. Yesterday I installed Visual Studio.Net & now I am getting error message 'The page cannot be displayed' when trying to view ASP pages. Before installing VS.NET, all the ASP pages were displaying correctly. Re-installed IIS twice but of no help. When turned off the 'Show friendly error message' option, it is giving me error 'Server Application Error'.

Can anybody help to resolve this problem ? Help is highly appreciated.

Regards

Sandeep Patil

What is the rest of the error message?

Check the windows event log maybe there is a clue there. Also I seem to recall a MS KB article about resetting the IIS/asp.NET settings, something about what order you installed IIS and asp.NET
