Timeout with persists asp upload
I am getting a timeout on an asp upload script with large files. I have increased every timeout setting, even on the script itself. Chanegd settings in IIS and in the IIS metabase. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance.

Are you using a component or an upload asp script? How big have you increased the server.scripttimeout value to? How long does the script run before timing out?

yes : persist asp upload. I have contacted them, they said there is nothing that should limit it. I have increased script timeout to 4 hours. It normally timeouts around 20 minutes. It runs fine if I transfer on the same network (faster) so I know the script works. It is just a timeout issue. Thanks for the reply!

All I can say, according to the asp docs the time a component is running doesn't affect the timeout. It's possible there is some upper limit on the timeout value you can use, but I don't know for sure. 30 mins is definitely OK, you might try something that will "usually" work.
