I am Using IIS 5.0, If i browse for www.microsoft.com it goes to default IIS page. I checked it using IE 6x and also with firefox.
no use Give me a solution. Note: Problem is only with that URL only |

You must have a local DNS server setup to point entries to www.microsoft.com to your own server, and IIS must be configured with a host header of www.microsoft.com also.

One likely problem is your W2K computer has some malware that has altered your hosts file to redirect microsoft.com
In W2K the hosts file is at c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\
