YOu need to open your firewall to allow external port 80 traffic to get to your web server.

Hi. I recently set this up on my home network and used a service called No IP which sorts out the dynamic IP Address. (You said that your IP Address changes on each reconnect)
I recently posted a thread in this forum on this topic, and explained how I Did it towards the last few posts. Heres the URLs: http://forums.aspfree.com/showthrea...6437#post176437, http://forums.aspfree.com/showthrea...7079#post177079 and last but by no means least: http://forums.aspfree.com/showthrea...7446#post177446 (That is assuming you use a router. If you use a USB modem, you will have to follow Doug G's advice) It is pretty amazing when you see your own website appear on another computer! |
