Web server extension node not shown
hi im having a bit of a problem..im trying to make an asp.net web application but i keep getting an error message like "the specified web server is not running asp.net version 1.1....." so i downloaded and installed .net framework 1.1 and i think i have to enable to web server extension from the IIS manager. the problem is that i opened the IIS manager but i dont see the web server extension node..??? what can i do?

Why are you installing .net framework 1.1 when 2.0 is available and VS Webdeveloper is free?
AFAIK all you have to do is install the framework downloaded from the following site: .net 2.0
Also, if you download Vs Webdeveloper, it will install the framework for you : VSWebdev

thanks ill try that but i have a question..im writing my database with c# in microsoft visual studio .net 2003...and i connected this to my data in sql server in the enterprise manager. but i also need to design a web application and will need to connect this website to my database..so should i still use the visual web developer to do all this?or should i just build the web design part on the web developer and the database part on .net 2003? im not sure how everything connects....im new to this stuff so im a bit
