You can't install IIS on Windows XP Home Edition. And you can't download it from anywhere...It comes on the operating system cd.
Windows XP Home Edition does not include IIS. |

Did you note read the post above???
You can't download IIS, it comes as a part of the Windows CD and XP Home Edition doesn't come with IIS, only XP Pro does. |

In order to install IIS on your PC you might have to resort to the NT Option Pack which can be downloaded here:
http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/n...tPk/default.asp This might allow you to install Personal Web Server (PWS) which is a limited equivelant of IIS. Alternatively, have a look at this article: http://www.15seconds.com/issue/020118.htm Looks a bit complicated but might be worth a try...

Even with the Option Pack you can't install IIS on Windows XP Home.
If you search google there are some "kludges" floating around but if you break your Windows OS don't be surprised. XP home doesn't support a number of things needed for proper IIS operation, and IIS on XP Home is completely unsupported by Microsoft.
