Why this happened?
Hi, I am a newbie of ASP and IIS. I am using Windows XP + IIS 5.0. I met a problem when I built my webpages.
When I pressed a button which refered to an ASP page, like <a href="Mywebsite/Pic.asp?id=1">View Picture</a>, it popped up a window said that "You are downloading the file: Pic.asp from ... Would you like to open the file or save it to your computer?". Could anyone help me figure this out? Thanks. Yang |

Did your webserver ever work right? Have you created a virtual directory in the IIS manager for your pages and granted script execute permissions?
When your asp page tries to download, it means the page code can't be executed for some reason so IIS treats it like a link to any other kind of non-web file. http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;309051
