Windows server 2003 and IIS 6.0 problems
when my default website is inetpub i get a 403 error, when i change the home directory to another website i get 404 errors even tho the files do exist, ive double checked everything and have no clue what is up.
if u need any further information let me know thanks |

nevermind i got it workin
just incase anyone else wants to know, i went into the web service extensions in iis6.0 and allowed active server pages, it was prohibited by default |

There are some businesses, and organizations that don't use the IIS portion of Windows servers. Microsoft Windows 2003 servers don't have any features of iis enabled. It's a good thing you figured out how to enable iis, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are many features, that we ASP developers take for granted until everything is turned off. Feel free to post any IIS related questions back on this forum.
