Angry WWW Publishing Service gets stuck in "Starting" - IIS never loads
Hi Guys

My WWW Publishing service gets stuck in Starting state. No logging in the event viewer either.
Also trying to load IIS from admin tools does nothing at all.

Debug help appreciated! ADC

If the service is stuck on "starting" in the services viewer, most likely it's a firewall issue. With zonealarm on the same box as the web server, the fix is to stop the WWW service and set it's startup to manual. Reboot the computer, and after everything is started back up, restart the www service. ZA should offer you to allow IIS as a server.
