connect via Enterorise Manager Sql server

Hi listers,
I just signed up to this forum and I have a problem that I hope you can help me.
I've developed a MSSQL server 7.0 database. I have a host company supporting MS SQL server databases. I'd like to connect to that database from my computer using Enterprise Manager!
I also have a SQL account on the host server!
I tried to register a new server on my SQL server but it didnt work! somthing's wrong with connection! I have the connection string either!
Any hint would be helpful.

Thank you

Robert

Did you enter the IP Address when registering the server? I had a similar issue with a company and it turned out to be something with their firewall. I would contact them.

You could try using the Client Network Utility on your computer to set up an alias to your remote sql server.
