Connecting SQL/Sybase DB with ASP/VB
I am connecting to a sybase DB using VB with asp & I am getting the following error.
Error Type: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005) [SYBASE][ODBC Sybase driver][Sybase]ct_connect(): user api layer: internal Client Library error: HAFAILOVER:Trying to connect to server. I am using the following connection String: set dataConn2 = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") dataConn2.Open "DSN=iwsdbs1;uid=*****;pwd=******" *I have checked the ODBC connection, it is connecting. *the user name & pwd is correct. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What does this have to do with SQL Server?
It benefits the poster to put their post in the correct forum area, otherwise people who could answer it, won't see it.
