I am trying to connect to a SQL2000 database on my server. I can access it through Enterprise Manager and Visual Studio. I can FTP to the server. When I try to connect in my ASP.Net program it says that the server can not be found or access is denied. I am giving it the correct user id and password. I have tried various things to get it to work. It was working before but our intranet people gave my IP address to somebody else. We got that resolved but now I can't get to the database. Are there any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong?

Are you connecting to this Db using a DSN? Check your DSN settings for this db and make sure that the servername is still the same and that as part of the change to your new ip, your router is configured to map that ip to the servername.
