Setup questions
I want to develop a web based application system using ASP on my computer.
The requirements of the system are as follows: Windows 2000 Professional IIS web server SQL server 2000 I want the users of the system to connect to the system using the internet. 1. What is the difference between local and domain user account in the services accounts setting? 2. What is the difference between windows authentication mode and mixed authentication mode? Thanks for the help. |

These are not really asp related questions.
If you have a domain server on a windows network, you can have a domain user account. If you don't have a domain server you will be using a local account on your computer. For question 2, visit the SQL Server BOL (books on line). You can find them on http://msdn.microsoft.com/library
