Hi all
Really strange problem - and I was wondering if any of you guys could shed any light on it. Basically we have migrated a website from shared hosting to a managed server - and all has gone well. However, we have a DTS package that runs twice a day, and I have set this up through the Management/Agent/Jobs option in enterprise manager. The problem we are having is, the Job runs, and shows as having ran in EM, however, the actual DTS package does not get executed. The package contains some VB that calls a DLL. If I manually run the package it is fine - so I have no idea why it is not runnning - I have checked all permsissions etc etc and it seems fine (Administrators and SYSTEM have full control). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Regards Daz -------------------- Since posting this I have added some debugging info, and am getting back the error: "The conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value." from my DLL. Now, all the locales on the DB and Web server are set in the OS to be UK. This is 100% sure. However, it would seem that even though we are working on DD/MM/YY SQL is assuming the format is MM/DD/YY and it is therefore giving the error. However, this does not explain how/why I don't get the error when manually executing the package. Regards Darren Last edited by daz_oldham : August 18th, 2004 at 04:09 AM.
