Hello friends,
I want to analyze and understand the data model behind an SQL server database. I don't have SQL server database on my computer. to open the database with some monitoring tools and observe the data DO I NEED SQL SERVER DBMS ON MY COMPUTER? please help me , how to open an Sql server database and is there any tool which can automatically draw ER diagrams for the database. You'll need the client tools installed, so you can connect to and view the data in the database.
Visio can create the ERD from the database. |

Hi Memnoch , it is really very good information for me , because if the client tools are of free of cost then I can solve my problem and also I have Microsoft Visio programme. If it can draw the ERD automatically then its greate for me.
