SQL Server memory usage
I have a windows 2000 server and SQL 2000 server on it. The acces to the SQL server is slow. I looked in Task Manager and saw that the Mem Usage for sqlservr.exe is 1,712,00 K !!! (this is after restarting the server).
I also have sql server on a local machine and there the process memory usage is only 7,000 K.

How can I reduce the process memory usage on the server? why is it so big?
