Test Data Source Failed
Hi,

I'm having a problem when creating ODBC. The test data source was failed. The message as below:

Microsoft SQL Server Driver ODBC Version 03.80.0194

Running connectivity tests..

Attempting connection
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired

TESTS FAILED!

Could anyone help me regarding on this.

Well, apparently you have a network problem or you specified something incorrectly in the setup of your DSN.

firstly thanks for your reply.

i don't think i'm specified wrongly in the DSN Setup. if u said that i'm having a network problem.. when i ping the SQL Server.. there is no problem with the network line. i'm facing this problem only at 1 pc (client pc).. at the others pc is ok.

Can the o/s cause of this? the client pc is using windows 98 2nd edition.
