Question Can't upload .wmv files. HELP PLEASE!

I'm having a similar problem only my video presentation is not as large. The problem I'm having is Geocities says I can't upload .wmv files. How do I get them uploaded to my site? I'm on the free version of Yahoo! Geocities. Any suggestions...PLEASE!

I've had this video presentation ready for a long time now. I'm fighting against the Specific Breed Bans and MUST get this video up on the web. When I send thru email, it looks perfect, but Geocities won't allow .wmv files. I tried to ftp it to another of my old sites in sympatico, but don't know how to open it from there. If I could get it on the net anywhere, then I could at least put a link to it and watch it with the link.
All this is new to me, so I need easy to follow instructions.
If I sound frustrated and impatient...it's because I am. I've tried everything I could possibly think of for over a month.

There are decent free hosts too btw.

Consider Brinkster, 1ASPHost, and more.

Brinkster's 'free' education features does not allow, "no audio/video files".
I signed on to 1ASPHost and as soon as I added the video file, it said, 'file not valid'. It took my .jpg's...where? I don't know...but it's up there in the file folder.
Is there a FREE and EASY host that I can use that allows .wmv files.
I have Sympatico FTP that comes with my Sympatico account. The only problem is I don't know how to use FTP. I did upload it one time, but it was so tiny that you could barely see it. Once I removed it, I forgot how I got it up there once I tried to make it bigger.
I use Geocities because it's EASY...but that won't get my video presentation up on my site. grrrr...I'll be bald by the time I finally get it up...IF I get it up.
Is anyone on the forum fighting the Breed Specific Legislation? Perhaps I could email them the video, they put it up on their site and I can link to them. Maybe? Shows how desparate I am and clueless with these other programs.
My website (I hope I'm allowed to do this) is http://www.geocities.com/no1conners/index.html and if interested that may be the only way I can get it up...unless there is an easier solution.

A spin-off of Archive.org allows you to upload your own videos. I don't have the URI for it, however. But maybe there's a link off Archive.org somewhere.

ok...I'm getting closer...but when I downloaded the ccPublisher, it wouldn't start up. I've probably d/l too many programs trying to get this video up. BUT...I d/l another ftp program and for some reason everything just started loading.
So now it's in my ftp site and on my homepage of that site is everything I wanted for it...EXCEPT...the video. It loaded to ftp, so I don't understand why it's not on the http site?
On a positive note...this is the furthest I've gotten to so far.
It's just a small page as all I want is that up so I can link the video from there. It's http://www3.sympatico.ca/conners ...now to get that video out of ftp and get it on there. Any idea's...and you've been great this far. Bet you will love once I get it up and out of your hair. LOL You don't have to answer that!
