Flash to Database

I am doing a project with its interface using Flash. I need to Get data from MS SQL Server 2000. Do i write the actionscript in Flash or do in write the code in VB6.

I have read up on it and it says that i need to use a server-side script to get data from the SQL Server before passing it into Flash. Can i use VB 6.0? Or i can directly write the code in flash.

Please help..i have to hand in this project soon..and my supervisor is abit angry with my pace...

try asp to ms sql ..then flash this should work...

start with backend first , then frontend ..
