Hello Parkerwilliam,
I’m using a DVD to WMV converter called dvd-to-wmv. I got it from my friend when i was need for this. It’s really easy to use and provides amazing speed. Hope this help you.

here's my (freeware) technique:
1. rip DVD with DVD Decrypter (there's a newer version, but i prefer a simpler interface)

2. verify .vob files came out correctly with GOM media player

3. convert to whatever media file i could ever desire withSUPER
