sending images?
I have a question for everybody here. What kind of file sizes are people getting when time comes to submit work to a client?
For me, images 20x30 @300ppi are too huge, and I have problems FTPing, and end up burning to CD and hand delivering to the customer. Does anyone else have any pains when working with images, and are the images you put out large enough that you can't Email them? Rich |

Absolutely. Some of the projects I deal with contain large Autocad files. I usually FTP them, even though it takes a long time. I am considering getting a DVD burner.

I frequently end up with high quality photoshop compoites of 3D renders which range from 100mb to 350mb. I bought a DVD burner 3 months ago and haven't looked back since!

Rich - It depends on what File format you need but I always send customers an .eps of the final product.
I use "JPEG MAXIMUM QUALITY" Encoder which doesn´t lose quality and transforms a 100MG file into a 1 MG file. |
