Hey all,
I've read a few posts and realise that a lot of people (including myself) are having problems sending large images. I always have to burn a CD to give to clients. A colleague of mine suggested a service called YouSendIt.You basically specify a file to send which uploads onto their server. The recipients will then get a link to download the file. You can send files up to 1GB without filling up mailbox space. It's awesome! I recommend this site, but there's a catch though....it's free! While I'm not complaining that's it free, I'm a little skeptical about things being "too good to be true!" I've tried the service and it's great, but I was just wondering if anyone else uses this service or if they've ever heard of it..... http://www.yousendit.com Thanks. |

what do you mean trouble sending large images? like there's a cap on attachment size? isn't that just a function of having free email accounts?

yeahs, that's true....all free email accounts have caps and size restrictions. Asides from that, sometimes the images on the Cd don't come out all that clear. And FTP isn't all that secure either, so I've been using large file transfer services....Like the one that I mentioned above called www.YouSendIt.com I can send up to 1GB....crazy!!! What do you guys do to transfer large files?
