How to develop search panel..

I am developing search panel on the bases of 20 cases & there will be use 419 times if & else conditions..
I want to use single query to develop this panel without if & else conditions..Is this Possible??
Or if it is not possible than send me suitable code or link to develop this panel...
Sir please send me this code or link as soon as possible...

I'm sure it is better way to do that. Give as more ideas what you need 419 if else cases is not a good solution... What is the "search panel on the bases of 20 cases"? What kind off database and database structure you are using?, Why you think it comes to 419 if else cases?
