Windows Forms/VB.Net - How i can manipulate scanner by code?

Hi

I need to create a code, that allows me manipulate a scanner for to do the functions of scanning and save the image.

I'm searching in google, but the information is very limited about this matter.

Please, somebody can help me?

Hi ,
You need to know if the scanner you connect with provide any useful API to be use. or you can call Windows API connect your scanner.
