running asp outside of a browser
Originally posted by : aviva (mary.sanzenbacher@ac.com)
is this possible? we want to run an asp file, but are having a problem because the server we're running it from isn't always logged on, so you can only run IE when someone is logged on to the server. is there any way to get around this?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Then if you are running windows, just double click the file to run it. (because of the danger of this, NEVER run an unknown .vbs file from an unknown person, hence the I LOVE YOU virus from a while back! Just wanted to throw in the extra tidbit. :P)

------------
aviva at 9/18/2000 10:35:45 AM

is this possible? we want to run an asp file, but are having a problem because the server we're running it from isn't always logged on, so you can only run IE when someone is logged on to the server. is there any way to get around this?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
