Pay Rate: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus. Total Package from 140-190K

What You'll Do:

Our client is looking for a couple of highly advanced and highly motivated infrastructure consultants to work in varying locations across the U.S. (see above). Specifically, they are looking for specialized experts around the following individual technologies (primarily network-based): Active Directory, Exchange, SMS, MOM, SQL Server, Sharepoint, and Business Intelligence. This person will be a select individual who has already been successful as a consultant and can deliver world-class customer service around one of the technologies mentioned above. More specifically, you'll be providing architecture, design, and deployment around your specialized technology. You are not required to upsell, however there are additional bonuses for those who do and travel outside of your local area is not required.

About the Company:

Our client has only been operating since 2004 but is already one of the premier providers for Advanced Infrastructure solutions, as well as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Their consulting practice focuses primarily around Microsoft Technologies, from Active Directory, Exchange, and SMS, to MOM and SQL Server. Currently, all of their clients are Fortune 1000, enterprise-level (6,000+) clients.

Who You'll Interact With:

While the environment is fast-paced, there is also a small, close-knit, family feel to the environment (25 people in the Cleveland office, smaller in other locations). In terms of interaction, about 50% of the work would be done individually, and 50% in teams. All of the work will be done on a consulting/client-side basis. The average work week is 45 hours and overtime is extremely uncommon.

Skills to Succeed:

*Expert level knowledge and experience in one of the following: Active Directory, Exchange, SMS, BI, MOM, or SQL Server
*Outstanding network/infrastructure design and architectural background
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to fluently present and converse around advanced technical concepts
*MCSE 2000 or 2003 preferred, MCP at a minimum
*College Degree is NOT required

How performance will be measured:

As a consultant, you will be reviewed after your first 90 days they will setup a performance plan, and then do reviews for each 6 month period thereafter, based on performance. These reviews are conducted by management, specifically the Director of Technology Delivery, as well as customers who you are consulting for. As you advance, their will be significant opportunity for growth into the role of Practice Leader or Lead Consultant, etc.
