$50-60/hr: Microsoft Commerce Server Specialist
Pay Rate: $50-60/hour
Position Type: 3-6 month contract, possibility of extension Location: Arlington, VA Project Description: End client is currently running Commerce Serve in production and needs to create and replicate production into both testing and development environments. End client went straight to production and now wants to develop and test enhancements in sandboxed environment before release. End client is local government group. You will work on end client site 90% of the time and heavily at the start. You will be our clients only resource dedicated to this project and will work independently and with end client IT team. Job Description: You will analyze current production environment and clients needs and document your understanding. You will install and configure Microsoft Commerce Server in two separate environments (test/dev) and replicate production environment. Some additional documentation (operations manual) may be required. Specifically you will work with the cataloging and mailer modules. Additionally you will advice on environment stabilization and performance enhancement. For this project, employee reports directly to the Vice President. Work Environment: Team: 50% Individual: 50% Client Facing: 100% Key Experience Needed to Succeed: Commerce Server installation/ configuration / replication Commerce Server administration and enhancement Experience with cataloging and mailer modules Environment analysis Needs and operations documentation MCSE and MCP in Commerce Server tests Education: BA/BS in Science/Technical ** No 3rd Parties - No Corp-to-Corp - No Sponsorship Available** Nice to have: Microsoft Certifications: MCDBA, MSCE |
