Project Description:

Our client is currently seeking a few Senior Network Engineers to join their engineering team of consultants. The position will encompass working individually or part of a team to complete complex installations, upgrades, and migrations of servers in: Microsoft (Exchange, Active Directory, Clustering), Citrix, VMware or EMC. Senior engineers will work with Project managers to ensure the overall success of the project.

In addition to working on projects, members of the Engineering Team will be trained and encouraged to stay current on technical accreditations. These technical accreditations will be identified by the Project Managers and the management team.

As a Senior Network Engineer some of your responsibilities include:

* Architect, Design, and implement network solutions.
* Perform network installations, upgrades, and migrations with Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware technologies for small to large organizations.
* Present and demonstrate technologies to prospective clients and be the subject matter expert when interacting with clients.
* Work with a team of engineers to implement network solutions for small, large, and enterprise clients
* Research and analyze new technologies and develop techniques and procedures that will be used by the team to implement new technologies.
* Participate in training on cutting edge technologies to improve your technical knowledge

Work Environment:

Team: 20%
Individual: 80%
Client Facing: 100%
Work Week: 40 hrs

Some travel out of the area will be required but 90% of clients are located in the DC Metropolitan area.

Key Experience Needed to Succeed:

* 3-5 years of technical infrastructure experience
* Experience with Exchange and Active Directory
* Experience with Citrix (building servers, server farms, etc.)
* Bachelors degree
* Excellent Communication Skills

* Must be authorized to work for any US Employer (Greencard or Citizen)
