Job Description:

The role of a Senior developer with our client is one of great importance as your contributions impact the success of the application and the company. As a developer you will be working with a team of 8-10 colleagues to enhance and improve the web-based application. Some your responsibilities will include:

* Receive software requirements and produce a sound and efficient software designs
* Develop enhancements in C# and C++
* Work with colleagues to transfer knowledge and make suggestions around the software application.
* Mentor junior and midlevel developers in the development team
* Think outside the box and come up with new approaches to solve common problems.

In terms of personal characteristics the ideal candidate is a team player who is eager to work in a start-up environment and enjoys playing different roles. In terms of career growth, the Senior developer role is groomed to become a Architect.

Work Environment:

Team: 60%
Individual: 40%
Work Week: 40 hrs

Development: 90%
Maintenance: 10%

Experience Needed to Succeed:

* 7+ years of Development experience (overall)
* 2+ years of .NET development experience
* A background in developing object oriented applications in C# and C++
* A strong understanding of design patterns is also highly sought
* Experience designing and developing 3-tiered architecture based systems
* BS and/or MS in Computer Science or related fields

* A team player with excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
* You must be authorized for work for any US employer (i.e. Greencard and Citizen)
