Architect / Senior Programmer : Asp.net / C#

ARCHITECT / SENIOR PROGRAMMER : ASP.NET / C#

1. A Chicago based company with offices in Hoffman Estates, Springfield and India is looking for a Strong Microsoft Solutions expert to work as a Sr Architect on one of our client sites for a project that runs through March of 2006. The position is based near Springfield, IL.

2. The candidate needs to have have functioned as architect and lead developer. He/She will be involved with the analysis, design and layered architecture of applications primarily for Web environments using C#, ASP. NET and SQL Server. You will also work closely with business users and developers to provide application architecture and design of sophisticated applications.

3. Selected candidate will also be required to travel to company’s corporate office in Hoffman Estates one to two times a month and travel to India as and when required to manage company’s offshore delivery team.

Essential Skills :-

a) Should be able to Architect solutions and Manage Projects in .NET platform.
b) Should have minimum 2 years hands-on experience in the following technologies :-

• ASP. NET and C #,
• Visual Studio. NET , . NET Framework
• VB.NET, WinForms
• WebForms development and XML Web Services.

c) Should have an overall experience of 4-5 years in Software Development.
d) Proficient in MS SQL and Database Designing, Stored Procedures, Triggers etc.
e) Should have managed a team of 4-5 junior programmers.
f) Must to have experience in client interaction and business analysis.



Desirable Skills :-

a) Proven experience in delivery of successful projects.
b) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
c) MCSD.NET Certification or Consulting experience will be a plus
d) Knowledge of Windows socket programming would be a plus
