Our clients' Business Intelligence practice is currently experiencing growth and they are looking for professionals to join their practice in the Southeast. These people would reside near one of their offices in the Southeast: the local office being in Bethesda, MD. Candidates will be responsible for participating in full-life cycle projects implementing business intelligence and other technologies to meet their clients' information needs. In addition, these professionals would be responsible for participating in the national Business Intelligence organization, supporting projects and practice activities across the country.

<b>Job Description:</b>

Our client is seeking consultants with expertise designing and building business intelligence and data warehousing solutions with Microsoft's SQL Server BI tools i.e. Analysis Services and Reporting Services. This is a consulting position and travel will be required, when traveling you will work a four day work week.

<b>Experience Needed to Succeed:</b>

" 3 or more years of expertise designing and building business intelligence and data warehousing solutions with Microsoft's SQL Server BI tools i.e.: Analysis Services and Reporting Services
" Strong dimensional modeler ( Star schema, snowflake schema, changing dimensions, semi-additive measures, Ralph Kimball design techniques)
" Strong Analysis Services 2000 expert preferably with very Large OLAP cube deployments utilizing multiple partitions.
" Analysis Services 64bit skills strongly preferred.
" Intermediate level experience writing MDX queries and calculations.
" Must be able to build several prototype version of AS cubes to validate user
" Must know how to use the Partition Manager for Analysis Services
" Must know how to use the parallel partition processing techniques or utilities.
" Preferable to have DTS 2000 experience or Integration Services experience with SQL 2005.
" Very preferable to have transact SQL coding experience
" Preferable to have financial reporting background with GL and activity based costing.
" BA/BS in any degree
" You must be authorized for work for any US employer (i.e. Green card and Citizen)
