Debugging help in ASP and MS SQL Server

I'd really appreciate a steer in the right direction. A freelance developer created a website for my start-up business. It was developed in ASP with a database in SQL server. It has never gone live, mainly because the marketplace wasn't right so I shelved the project and survived on lentils for a few years. I'm now ready to launch but have 9 bugs I can't fix in order to make the site go live. The original developer is snowed under, so I need to find another freelancer who can either work on my machine or at a distance accessing the script files via WFTP Pro. If the db needs consulting the developper would need SQL server as I can't see these functions. I have an Access interface so that could be accessible via my router. As I live in France (nr Annecy, Hte Savoie) it'd be good to find somebody local so we could work face to face but this may narrow down the field too much. I tried a couple of PHP developers recently and they couldn't fix the bugs because they didn't know ASP well enough. I also asked an IT services company to quote and they reckoned the project would take 15 hours (the quote was way over my humble means). Could someone point me to the best freelancer sites or people they know who could do this job quickly and at a sensible price?
