Freelance Jobs Website, Need Members

Hello Programmers.

I recently created a new Freelance website - www.SearchLancer.com
So far its going good, we have the lowest fees on internet, its 0% for freelancers, and 3% for buyers. We have over 50 programmers, and over 20 buyers. No signup fees, no monthly fees. I hope to compete with other similar websites
We need all KINDS of programmers, .. PHP, C++, VB, anything and everything you can offer. Webmasters keep on posting new projects everyday.

Anyway, back to the business, I am looking for any feedback you might have. Suggestions, and Ideas are welcomed.

Thank You.

We now have over 100 programmers! New projects being posted everyother day. If you do join please bid on projects, or the site has no chance of surviving.
Since we have 0% fees for freelancers, make it work, its the best deal out there

Thank You.

Marketing questions

from what i understand from your site your a portal inwhich your clients need some form of web solutions/back end programming. The client will ask for a price where upon you find from the member of programmers who would do the work for this price. OK if this is correct, how are you positioning your company. Are you an IT consultant or a Web/New Media designer.

The first thing i would suggest is that you get to know what kind of clients IT/Retail/Finanical/Manafacturing you want to target. Once you have that you then need to get your profile increased. You may need to have a sales strategy on how you are going to gain and retain your clients, what kind of advertising you can afford. I would then choice and industry you feel your products must suit and then plan a well organised promotion either through word of mouth with existing clients or a small advertising campaign.
