Job Description
Works as project team member with in-house and outsourced developers to design, implement, maintain, and enhance Web applications. Works with Web Content staff to design new and enhanced modules within the content management system and to design, implement, maintain, and enhance functional elements for use within content modules. Designs, implements, maintains, and enhances software and processes to simplify or automate the work of others in the Health Promotions department. Performs peer testing and quality assurance tasks for products of the web development team. Documents products of the web development team. Contributes to review of task analysis and estimation by the web development team and outside vendors. Provides on call support as needed and performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Two years' experience developing web sites for business purposes on windows platform. Thorough understanding of the Web, its capabilities and limitations. Thorough knowledge of ASP, .NET, VB Script, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with distributed content management systems. Strong skills required in critical thinking, attention to detail and analysis. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Previous experience in all phases of web site development and maintenance cycle. Experience with SilkRoad/Eprise Content Management Systems, Siebel applications, Urchin traffic analysis software, Visual SourceSafe a plus. Development experience with Java, SQL Server, PERL, web services, process automation, multiple browsers and multiple operating systems a plus.
