looking for a programmer for a small project
Hello,

I am a web designer, designed the entire site using dreamweaver and fireworks..know a little coding, not much. My client informed me that she can't print any of the pages (especially the homepage)from the web...I have NO idea what is going on..I can print it from my printer (I use mac), but she says she has been getting lots of email from others who can't print as well...
This site is a non-profit organization for Child Abuse, and there is a lot of info that people need to print sometimes...

How much would you charge me to fix this problem?

When I do a "Print Preview" on the first page, the page count goes well over 200 pages!

You should review the html in your pages.

Why is the home page so long, when only 1/2 of the page has content???

The page is long because initially client had a lot more info...I'll try to cut down the size and see if it is printable...

I'm sorry but I think your html code is not "well-formed". The problems can be caused by using "div" tag's with absolute positioning. Mozilla "FF" browser allows me to print this page. But IE don't. Netscape 7.2 works good too.
