Opportunity in D-FW Texas Area

Hi.

I am a IT technician, that lives in Fort Worth, Tx. I have been working for some large corporations as either an IT manager/administrator, or as a network technician/engineer for the last ten years or so, and for the last five years I have been running my own IT business on the side for extra money. Recently I got laid off, as so many others have, and now I am running my IT business full time and just trying to get by.

I am also a pilot, and for the past couple of years I have been developing a business plan for an aviation venture that I feel could potentially generate huge profits. Unlike some of my other ideas that have withered over time, this concept still excites me, as it did in the beginning, and when I look at the revenue estimates, and profit potential, I can’t wait to start it. I have already established the company as a Texas based L.L.C, and over this past couple of years, I have been working to develop the system that will drive this venture --a web based system built on SQL, ADO.net, and ASP.net.

My problem is that I am not extremely proficient at any of these so, it is taking me forever, as I am learning as I am doing. I have gotten the data schemas, and the basic access components, such as user logins, profiles, etc, done, but as I look back, I see it is not very likely that I will have this system running anytime soon, with my current schedule, and situation.

A while back I tried to see if I could take on a partner who would be interested in doing the programming and implementation of the system, while I concentrated on the design sales, operations, etc. I could also assist with the coding, web design, marketing etc. I didn’t have much luck. Most everyone I talked to, wanted to be paid for there work up front, and I never got the chance to really show anyone my concept, or business plan. Actually, I didn’t really get through to many programmers, because most of the places I went wouldn’t let me post the opportunity, or wanted a fee, which I didn’t want to pay.

So now I am trying again. I am hoping that someone in my area may be interested in looking into this. Maybe with so many unemployed programmers out there, someone may have the time to invest in what would be there own company, as apposed to working for someone else. Even someone who is working, but could invest part-time in getting this system up and running, may be interested in the revenue potential of this venture.

Anyway, if you are proficient in MS-SQL, ADO.net, VB.net, and ASP.net, and feel you might be interested in owning your own company, and potentially being able to retire wealthy within 5-10 years, then I am interested in considering entering into a limited partnership with you to get my Texas based L.L.C. off the ground. The only investment needed is coding time; I am not looking for money, or anything else. Also, I am not looking for more than one individual to work directly with me on this venture.
